Parental Involvement
We know that parents and carers play a vital role in our pupils' learning. We involve our parents in a number of ways to ensure they know what their children are learning, and how they can support that learning at home.
We host a range of workshops for parents and carers, including:
- Maths Workshops – Parents get hands on with maths!
- Internet Safety – Parents learn how to make sure children stay safe online.
- Reading at Home – We invited parents in where we shared our top tips for how parents can support their child's reading at home.
- Sharing Assemblies – Each year group hosts an assembly to share their learning with their families.
Parent Volunteers
Dear Parents/Carers,
We are on a search for parent volunteers to give one hour of their time daily from 12:00–1:00pm to interact with our pupils in the playground during their lunchtime. This will be a valuable opportunity to gain experience in a school setting, spend time responding to pupils and having fun! Please see the attached role poster to give further information.
If you are able to provide an hour a day of your time every day, please email the school on earlhaminfo@ekotrust.org.uk
Alternatively you may phone the school office on 020 8534 6127.
Clearly state:
- Your full name
- Names of your children and the year groups they are in
- Three lines as to why you should be considered as a Parent Volunteer
A member of our parental engagement team will respond if you are shortlisted. Thank you everyone.
Kind regards,
Earlham's Parental Engagement Team
