Home Time Collection
Home time collection is from the playground for Key Stage 1 and 2, and from the classrooms for Reception.

Drop off and collection
Drop off and collection are still staggered by 10 minutes to include a morning fitness session for the children (and to limit queueing time getting into school!) Parents are not to enter the school gates in the mornings. In the afternoons, collection will be from the playground and we welcome parentstalking to the teachers!
School Lunches
School lunches are served in the school dining hall.
PE
PE kit should be worn on PE days. This allows more time for the actual lesson and, as all lessons are at the end of the day, no children will be sitting around in sweaty clothes.

Absence
If your child is absent on any day, please contact the school office before 9am to inform them. The office staff may request medical evidence in line with the London Borough of Newham guidelines on attendance.
What should my child bring to school?
Your child should not bring anything to school other than a labelled water bottle and a book bag for reading books every Friday. Please send your child in wearing their PE kit on the days when they have PE lessons. Your child is given a reading book to bring home from school which is changed weekly.
How can I contact my child's teacher?
We love chatting to parents at the end of the day. Teachers are available when they have dismissed their classes and SLT are always in the playground and happy to chat through any questions or queries. As we priorise our fitness sessions at the start of the day, teachers are not able to chat with parents before school. However, the members of SLT on the gate are happy to pass on any messages to your child's teacher. If you need to make a longer appointment to speak to a teacher, please call the school office.
